Travel gifts live and die by whether the recipient will actually pack them. That sounds obvious. It ruins most travel-gift lists.
The stuff that ends up in the bag is usually small, multi-use, and replaces something heavier or less convenient. A compact Bluetooth tracker instead of worrying about the suitcase. A portable charger that handles phone, earbuds, and laptop on a long flight. A packable backpack. A water bottle that collapses for security.
What doesn't make the bag: novelty packing cubes with specific compartments, neck pillows that don't fit around the person's actual neck, "world traveler" themed anything. The travel gifts we recommend are the ones you'd pack yourself on the next trip.
