I used to rely on mugs or water cups to rehydrate myself, but I found myself constantly having to go up to get more water. This sort of friction was preventing me from getting the water I needed for the day. After I started using all 32oz of my Hydro Flask, I’ve noticed it’s been so much easier to stay hydrated and get the 3.7 liters that is the daily recommended dose. Real-World Cons: The Cup Holder Test ------------------------------------ One thing I need to warn you about though, I can’t fit the Hydro Flask in my car cup holder. I either have to set it down on my passenger seat or I just put it on the floor. Luckily, it’s pretty sturdy but I’ve gotten my fair share of dinks and scratches. Just warning you! Insulation Performance ---------------------- Another point I need to call out is that it really insulates well. Maintenance & Cleaning Tips --------------------------- One warning though, make sure to clean your Hydro Flask at least once a week. For me, I just put a little bit of water into the bottle, a squirt of dish soap, and I shake it up. After that, I let it sit for some time to let the soap do what it needs to do. And then afterwards, I’ll get a dish sponge with soap and do my best to clean everything. For the straw lid, I’d recommend taking it apart and cleaning it properly with a straw cleaner.
